The Queensland Government provides grants to achieve policy objectives, with agencies accountable for how public funds are allocated and managed. In 2023–24, approximately $4.06 billion in grants was distributed to individuals and entities.

The Queensland Government established the $3.34 billion Queensland Jobs Fund in June 2021 to foster growth in traditional and emerging industries. A key initiative under this fund is the Industry Partnership Program, which provides grants to businesses in industries such as manufacturing, renewables, and emerging technologies. The program aims to drive long-term economic and environmental benefits in line with government priorities.
