Human Rights Act 2019

The Queensland Audit Office actively considers and takes into account the requirements of the Human Rights Act 2019 (the Act) in all that it does. The Act respects, protects and promotes the inherent dignity and worth of all human beings, especially those most vulnerable. Its aim is to embed respect for human rights in the culture of the Queensland public sector and ensures that public functions are exercised in a way that is compatible with human rights.
