We host events each year to raise awareness of emerging issues related to public sector and local government performance.

At these events we also share insights from our audit work and reports to parliament. Some of these events are coming up over the next few months.

Briefing for audit committee chairs

On 6 December 2018, we will brief the chairs of Queensland public sector and local government audit committees about the learnings from our audit work, key technical information, and business changes at QAO. This event will be held in Brisbane with live streaming available.

Technical audit update

In February 2019, we will provide an update on the changes to accounting and auditing standards for public sector or local government Chief Financial Officers or Finance Managers. We will also discuss learnings from some of our recent reports to parliament. The dates will be confirmed soon and invitations sent before Christmas.
